Hey everyone!
As a reminder, we had issues with our payment processor when we attempted to charge cards last month, which caused payments for items added through Backerkit to be refunded.
Everyone has been refunded since then, and last week we began to reach out through email to attempt collection properly this time. Most of you have re-submitted your payments through PayPal and are all set! Sit back and let us get you your stuff now.
For everyone else who has yet to submit a new payment, we've begun a 48-hour notice before we charge the remaining cards on file.
Please check your emails for the newest message from Backerkit, and review the costs of items that are about to be charged! Any physical orders that fail will NOT be part of the first shipping wave!
When will Things Start To Ship!
GamesQuest, our fulfilment partner, tends to take around 2 weeks to finalize all the backer data and make sure addresses are all correct before they officially start shipping stuff out.
The current delivery estimates are:

All of the products have finally arrived at our centers! To avoid screwing everything up, we held off on charging cards so we could talk with professionals on how to do this right.
Well, let's get to it! Since some backers are already locked, here's the order everything will occur in:
Step 1. Everyone who hasn't had their order locked yet will be sent an email to confirm their information. Please check to make sure your info is up-to-date, as these forms will be locked within 48 hours.
Step 2. Cards will be charged! All backers will be sent an email to confirm their payment methods and have 48 hours before the cards on file are charged.
Step 3. Shipping prices will be ready, and backers will be sent one final email to confirm the shipping rate.
Our distributor, GamesQuest, will also reach out to you right before shipping with an extra, EXTRA reminder just to double check everything right before we ship out, so don't freak out!
What's the new ETA on Stuff Arriving?
Knowing how long the last book we delivered took to arrive at doorsteps when we got to this point, around 45 days!
Honestly we would've been on track for the last estimate if the UK wasn't swamped with packages and snow this month.

For a project with so much on the line if I (Blaine) make a mistake, I'd much rather go slow and steady than screw up something important. Thanks for being patient while I figured this all out though, everyone!
I definitely learned a lot about the types of stuff people actually want from Kickstarter campaigns like this, and a bunch of things to avoid. Expect plenty more goodies and a much more streamlined production cycle if you're hyped for more!

🎨THE FIGURES ARE ALL PAINTED...
The box is pretty simple so we could get these products out to you all faster! Basically everything is manufactured, and we're just applying shipping stickers to the pins and working out paperwork!
Lots of stupid stuff is being lost in translation as I try to delicately explain to the manufacturers which fulfilment center addresses to ship to, which is wasting a lot of pointless time, but the last thing I want are for products to go to the wrong location and for everything to get screwed up, so patience is key here!
📦Delivery Estimates!
The hardcover books are expected to arrive at fulfilment centers by mid-December! Assuming that we're able to ship out the rest of the products in the next two-ish weeks, that means (fingers crossed) we'll finally have everything ready to start packing and shipping out to doorsteps by New Years!
If that optimistic time frame can be achieved, then you all might actually get your stuff before February. Would love for that to be the case, and I'm keeping on the pulse to work for it!

📚Book Updates!
Woah, we hit a bottleneck in production. Isn't that always fun! :,)
So the EU has a lot of fun laws that keep its consumers safer from harmful products. That also means manufacturers need to meet safety standards, which can add plenty of testing time.
Other new laws also have us adding stickers to each product with information that's needed to make sure customs officers won't seize all the books. That'd suck if so!
We're waiting on ONE product to finally have its testing finish so we can stick everything with stickers, and THEN finally begin getting these books out of manufacturing and into our distribution centers!
⏰How long is that gonna take?
If I'm allowed to be hopeful, then every product could begin shipping out in three months!
Again, this is my first time managing a project of this scope, and although I can comfortably say that it's been steady progress, the most I can do is pray we won't hit another Valentine's Day before you all get your books. What better gift could you get on the day of love than a romance manual??
