Here's a look at one of the first monsters designed for the book, bonsai dryads!
They were initially introduced in my first ever D&D book, and are here now fully fleshed out with monster details!
Progress on the book is consistent as always. The finish line is close, and I'd love to be able to get to the far more time-consuming part of organizing fulfilment ASAP so we don't waste too much time!

🎉Happy Anniversary to the Silver's Monster Girl Manual project! 🎉
It's been a productive year since the Kickstarter launched back last Valentine's Day. 97% of all the art in the book is complete, and revisions on all the text has been underway for the last few months now.
Having improved my writing skills over the last year has caused some issues. Going over old monster descriptions, I feel a serious need to revamp them. The revision process has sometimes gone from making sure sentences flow better, to full on overhauls. The book will be way better by the end of it all, but will no doubt make wrapping up this final stage a real time sink.
Dealing with Burnout 🔥
Who woulda thought that grinding out writing a book for almost a year and a half would get tiring after awhile? I've always had Silver's MGM at the forefront ever since the Kickstarter launched, but sometimes prioritize other projects like new YouTube videos or D&D Patreon content whenever the workload gets monotonous. The sucky part is that, as the only writer on the team, me recharging through other types of work leaves Silver's MGM benched. It's an unfortunate reality no artist ever considers when putting a timeline on a project, and is also the case here.
New Estimated Completion Date!
Just as a reminder, the Kickstarter page mentioned that completion dates were VERY rough. I tried to circumvent that through finding writers, but nobody I found could fully match the vision. It's been a one-man front in that regard, and delays were inevitable.
I do, however, like attempting to gauge when this book and all its addons will finally be in people's possessions! I'm now expecting the following:
Finish Writing: 4-5 months Manufacture & Ship Products to Distributors: 2 months Documents and other Legal Cumbo Jumbo: 1 month Shipping Products to Backers: 1 month
Lamia from Silver's MGM, probably angry that Blaine delayed the book (fair reaction!).
To make up for the wait, I'll be releasing free pages from the book more occasionally on Patreon, Reddit, and my website's mailing list, so stay tuned!

🍀We're Enhancing The Monster Girls!

Writing in the base book is nearly 100% finished! We're moving onto the revisions and polishing up everything so there's less pointless bloat text and juicier monster and date spot details!
That's also the case with a few art pieces. Some locations weren't given enough personality during their original conception early into designing and are being redone with a better vision on the full project!
Hothot springs was one of those art pieces. The old piece (on the left) didn't show enough of the main structure that locals in the area use to protect themselves from volcanic eruptions!
The new piece (on the right) offers a better view of the main volcanic attraction and cements the spot better as an actual lived-in destination. Sure, one picture has monster girls and the other doesn't, but the perspectives emphasize different traits!
Re-doing Some Monsters!
Devil dealers, toads, cerberus, and salamanders have all been visually re-done as well! Many were changed to make them more monstrous and less human! That's not to say EVERY monster needs to look super monstrous, some can very much have more human appearances, but these ones didn't feel very special and had to be redesigned.
Backer Reviews!
Now that the book is basically fully understood, we can finally get to work on backer reviews! I may be keen on asking those backers to write up their own reviews for me to use in their entirety, or as inspiration!
Music!
The compositions for our dating tracks are complete! I'll be getting to work on distributing the music to everyone in the coming days. Enjoy setting the scenes of your games with a blissful, tense, and steamy selection of tracks!

Since all the monster girl art in Silver's Manual is complete, our artists would be out of work! While I finish writing the book, they're working hard on our next project: Silver's Monster Player Manual (name pending)!
EVERY monster in the original book is getting variant art, kinda like regional Pokémon types! Each takes the original monster and remixes it into something just as cool! This book will most likely be D&D-specific as opposed to system-neutral, and be a great companion piece to Silver's Monster Girl Manual!
